TL;DR (The Short Version)

• Age: You must be 13+ to play. If you're under 18, get a parent's okay.
• Safety: We help you organize games, but we aren't responsible for what happens on the court. Play safe!
• Content: You own your data/photos, but you give us permission to show them on the app.
• Beta: We are in Beta. Things might break, and features might change.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing Plus One Sports (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. Since we are in Closed Beta, these terms may change frequently. Your continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

• Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Minors (13-18): If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
• Verification: We reserve the right to terminate accounts if we suspect a user is under the age of 13.

3. User-Generated Content (UGC)

• You may post team names, scores, photos, and comments.
• Ownership: You retain ownership of your content.
• License: By posting, you grant Plus One Sports a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content so the app can function.
• Moderation: We reserve the right to remove any content that is offensive, illegal, or violates our community standards.

4. Physical Activity & "Play at Your Own Risk"

Plus One Sports is an organizational tool, not a sports insurer or supervisor.

• Assumption of Risk: Sports involve inherent risks of injury. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with physical activity coordinated through the Platform.
• No Liability: Plus One Sports is not liable for any physical injury, property damage, or personal disputes that occur during real-world games, tournaments, or meetups.

5. Beta Status & Free Tier

• "As-Is" Service: The Platform is in Beta. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or that your data will be stored forever.
• Modifications: We may change, limit, or stop offering any "Free Tier" features at any time without notice or liability.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Scrape data from the Platform for commercial use.
• Harass, bully, or stalk other "squad" members.
• Create fake accounts or impersonate other players/coaches.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plus One Sports’ total liability to you for any claim is limited to $0 (for Free Tier users) or the total amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of Vancouver, BC.
