Account Data: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and profile information (e.g., your sport preferences like volleyball).
Social & Content Data: This includes the squads you join, tournaments you organize, and any photos or scores you upload.
Usage Data: We collect technical data like your IP address, browser type, and how you interact with the app to help us fix bugs and improve performance.
Payment Data: If you use a paid tier, payment processing is handled by third parties (like Stripe or Polar.sh). We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
We use your information to:
Public Visibility: Because this is a social platform, your profile name and sports interests are visible to other users so they can invite you to squads.
Legal Compliance: We may share data if required by law or to protect the safety of our community.
No Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal contact information to third-party advertisers.
Plus One Sports is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If we discover a user is under 13, we will delete their information immediately. Users between 13 and 18 should use the platform with parental supervision.
We are a "Work in Progress" (Beta). While we use industry-standard encryption to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords.
Your data may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other countries where our service providers (like Vercel or Supabase) maintain servers. By using the platform, you consent to this.
